I am starting off the month strong with a few ads for you to steal.

You can't put videos on an email so click here to view the videos before you read my breakdown.

1. Nutribullet

I love these first three seconds - you get to see three different smoothie flavors from Nutribullet. How they make the transition seamless captivates the viewer.

Then when it comes to the text, they keep it simple.

They let the visuals do the talking.

This footage is buttery smooth and well done.

I am tired of people saying you have to do UGC for ads - THIS IS A HIGH-END PRODUCTION VIDEO THAT ALSO IS A GOOD AD!

2. White Fox Boutique

UGC is great but don't get stuck in just that style of work.

You need to stand out on the timeline if you want to be unique.

I love how White Fox Boutique showed off their product with a fast pace video and excellent cuts. The editing is fantastic, and they use layers to show multiple frames at once.

You can also use this video across other channels - not just an ad which is great.

3. Fellow

Embed customer experience into the ads.

They show all of these comments of people asking for a product, Fellow delivers.

This ad builds trust with new viewers because they are showing that they as a brand listen to their customers.

The customers who have requested this item are beyond excited because Fellow went through with listening to their customers.

How can you show that you are listening to your customers?Use comments and reviews in your ads to build trust with existing customers and new potential customers.

4. Hanacure

The product is attention-grabbing because the mask tightens the person's skin... it looks uncomfortable, but I still want to keep watching.

Not every product has that experience but think about how you can grab a viewer's attention with product experience.

Instead of giving a viewer a chronological video with steps 1, 2, and 3 - start at step 2, then go back to step 1.

Sometimes starting in the middle can be just as effective as doing a before and after or other formats that have a linear timeline.

5. ThirdLove

I am obsessed with how they highlight details in the product.

They show a full-body shot, and then a frame to zoom into a part of the lingerie.Maybe there are details on your product that you want to highlight without flipping to a new scene or shot.

Even if it is not details of clothing, you could still do this as a way to highlight an ingredient or a product benefit.I haven't seen this framing zoom done a lot, so maybe this is something that can work for you.

6 (bonus). Range Leather

I wanted to throw in a bonus video - it is my own little video I made as a customer of Range Leather.

This UGC was a genuine review, and I am actually stoked about the products. I didn't script this, I just shared my thoughts.I tried to show my honest reaction to my unboxing at the beginning to hook the viewer, and then showed off all of the items.

Tim Aton - my friend and COO of Range Leather told me this ad is performing well with a 26% thumbstop ratio.

So start smelling your products to hook the viewer haha. (Please watch the video so this isn't taken out of context.)If you do UGC that is testimonial-based - get REAL testimonials, not fake ones. It is so clear when the video is scripted or not.

We have some exciting things coming up for the newsletter in April.

No joke.

Next week will be a must-read.

Keep creating!
