The best tool that most people don't know about!

I might be saying something that you already know, or maybe you think this tool is obvious, but I found about it only a year ago, and my mind is blown.

This tool has saved me the last few weeks, and I realized I had never shared it with you until today.

You can search up any brand and see their ad history and the creative they are running.

Every GIF.

Every Photo.

Every Video.

You get to see it ALL!

If you already knew this, I will give you suggestions on how to utilize the tool to the max.

If you didn't know about Facebook Ads Library, this is day one of your marketing changing forever.

Spying on your competition but keep it legal!

I honestly don't know how this ads library is free, but it is. The best part is that it is legal to spy on your competition. You have access to see the content they are pushing!

You can't see how much money they are spending and other details, but you can see the creative assets.

By seeing the photos and videos your competition is running as ads, you can deconstruct their strategy.

But Matt, how do you know these ads are performing well?

If your competition keeps running the same ad or similar content month over month, there is a reason why. They wouldn't keep running bad creative. Of course, you are also assuming they are good at ads, so take this statement with a grain of salt.

My point is that you can get a pretty good idea of what good ads are from their library.

You can look at your competition's social profiles to see their organic posts and their paid ads for a full picture of their content. You can see all of their creative output and get an idea of what could work for your brand and your creative assets.

Upgrade your content

This tool is not all about spying on your competition. I want you to use this tool to inspire your creativity. It took me a while to see how I could use this tool, so here a few suggestions on how to get started.

1. Get inspired by brands you like

Look at brands that are in your industry or brands that you are inspired by and see what ads they are running. You can get ideas on how you can translate their ads for your brand.

2. Don't create from a blank canvas

The hardest part about creating any content is starting. Ads library can give you a good starting point to help you develop ideas for your creative assets. You might also take some ads and use similar text graphics like one ad but then do similar shots from another.

3. Create like the 1%

Don't just look at your competition or even industry; look at the best ads, period. This site will help you find the best ads from the top brands. You can see the best ads from the Facebook ads library and learn the elements of the best ads.

This past week, my team put together a mood board for a photoshoot of their competitors' content and ads so that we could shoot something similar but better. Facebook Ads Library has given me so many ideas and inspiration, and I hope you use it to inspire your team.

Part of the process of working with Goodo Studios is that you get creative assets that are researched and fueled by strategy. If you need some content for Q4, let's connect to talk more about your needs.

Our Podcast is Launching

If you were around in 2020, you know that our name was Gattozzi Collective, and our podcast was called How to Build an Audience. Now that we have rebranded to Goodo Studios and started to focus on the consumer space, we felt that the podcast was too broad and didn't fit us as a company.

Don't worry, the episodes are still up and amazing to listen to, but we made some changes to fit our current audience - YOU!

We have incredible guests who will teach you and share examples of how to market your DTC brand. These interviews shouldn't be free, but they are, so make sure you subscribe to the podcast on any listening device.
