Preparation for Q4 starts in Q1

Q4 is the biggest quarter for most brands.

The people who win in Q4, invest in building their brand starting in Q1.

Too many people wait till the end of the year to test content, but it is too late.

The new year is a great time to create new photos and videos and test new storylines.

Now is the time to spend money learning how to talk with your customers and build a library of content.

When Q4 comes, you are ready to have a big finish to the year.

Here are five ways you can upgrade your content this year.

1. Brand new product photos

If your brand is growing, you need to grow your visual brand.

More than likely, it is time to elevate your product photos and images on your website.

Set the tone of your brand with new images.

New product photos can also improve your product page and reengage customers who have seen your photos last year.

2. Product Videos

Most people do not have videos on product pages, but it is proven to help the customer on their buyer’s journey.

You might have videos of products altogether or from UGC, but now is the time to make a product video per SKU.

You want to optimize your product pages across channels with a simple 15-second video per SKU.

You can also run ads for each product using these videos so that you can get a lot out of your investment in product videos.

3. Brand video

Over the past year, you may have added new products, and your old brand video doesn't match what you offer.

You have also developed your message over the last year, so you need a video to match your messaging and mission.

The new year is a great time to update the narrative and story you tell customers this year.

4. Paid Ad Content (UGC, Videos, Graphics)

Take a look at what worked and didn't work in your paid channels over the past year.

Start testing creative and different formats to know what works when you increase ad spend later in the year.

You don't have to wait till November to start creating new ads. You want winning formats and assets come November - begin testing today.

5. Product Release Content

If you know you are doing a rebrand or product release, PLAN for the launch.

You get the most attention at launch, so make sure the creative assets are ready to go.

Don't wait to launch to start creating content. Give yourself time to not rush the creative process.
